For context, I am comparing several advisory relationships and the fees are quoted in completely different ways. For context, one charges a percentage of assets, another charges hourly, and another earns commissions or has investment expenses inside the products. I have been reading articles and general guidance online, but they seem to assume facts that are different from mine.
