How much does a robo-advisor cost?

Robo-advisors are one of the cheapest ways to get your investments managed, usually charging about 0.25 percent of your assets per year. On a one hundred thousand dollar balance, that comes to roughly two hundred fifty dollars annually. Some have no fee at all on smaller balances, and a few offer premium tiers with access to human advisors for a bit more. Compared to the roughly 1 percent a traditional advisor charges, the savings add up over time.
